Formed in 2010, 40 Below: Marquette County Young Professionals is a group of forward thinking individuals engaging in professional, business, and community development. 40 Below is committed to developing Marquette County’s next generation of leaders by coordinating civic, social, and business networking activities.
Not under the age of 40? Not a problem.
As an individual over the age of 40, or as a business looking to grow and retain your own talent, there are unique ways that you can access the talent of 40 Below members.
Individuals
As an individual, you have the opportunity to recruit prospective employees or co-workers, engage the new generation of business leaders and connect with the community, explore additional volunteer opportunities, build relationships with up and coming entrepreneurs, highlight the community and fuel innovation by tapping into young leadership.

Businesses
As a business, companies have the opportunity to support 40 Below either as a corporate member or corporate sponsor. Both of these options will allow you to position yourself as a company that’s friendly to young professionals, recruit prospective employees and transplant and retain young professionals by engaging them. Business sponsors also have the opportunity to bridge the generation gap often seen amongst their employees.
Corporate Membership – $175
As a corporate member your business is highlighted under the membership list and you are provided 4 rotating memberships for employee young professionals. Corporate members are also acknowledged on the website and at the Upper Peninsula Young Professionals Conference.
Corporate Sponsorship – $1,000
If you are looking for marketable exposure in front of young professionals a corporate sponsorship is the right option for you. It includes an unlimited number of individual memberships for your staff (event fees may still apply), as well as a number of other amenities.
