Scott Reddinger was born and raised in Kingsford, Michigan. He graduated from Kingsford High School in 2004. He went on to attend college at Central Michigan University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2009, graduating cum laude. After college, he moved to the Marquette area in the fall of 2009 to begin his career at Superior Central Schools in Eben Junction, where he taught 4/5th grade for two years. In January of 2012, he made a career change and began working at VAST as account manager on the personal insurance team. He continues to build his career there today.
Scott has been a 40 Below member since 2011, and has been involved with the organization in various social and service capacities throughout that time. Scott is also an alumni of the Lake Superior Leadership Academy, having been a part of the class of 2013. Starting in January, he will be an active member of the 40 Below board of directors, and is looking forward to helping advance and grow the organization. Scott enjoys spending his spare time outside; usually at his family camp near Randville, Michigan hunting for grouse or whitetails, or on the trails at Al Quaal hiking or snowshoeing. When he’s not outside you can find him working on his blog, or cheering on the Tigers, Packers, Redwings, or the Michigan State Spartans. Scott currently lives in Ishpeming with his wife Valerie, dog Sebastian, and cat Moo Moo.
