40 Below has partnered with Upper Edge to bring Gourmet Gone Wild to the Upper Peninsula on Saturday, November 7.
Michigan DNR will be demonstrating fly casting at the Pocket Park located at the U.P. State Fairgrounds in Escanaba. The archery and pellet gun range will also be open for use. The demonstration and pocket park activities will be from 3-5 p.m.
Doors will open at 4 p.m. at Upper Hand Brewery for beer tastings and facility tours. The Gourmet Gone Wild dinner, prepared by Justin Fairbanks, Head Chef and Managing Partner of the Steinhaus and Steinhaus Market, will be served around 6 p.m.
Interested 40 Below members can carpool from the MDOT park and ride located in the Cherry Creek Market parking lot. If you select that you are interested in carpooling, 40 Below will follow up with more information after registration closes.
Deadline to register is Friday, October 30. Event is limited to 50 members and guests of 40 Below. Due to the popularity of last year's event, 40 Below members are limited to one guest and all guests must be sponsored by a 40 Below member. Event is free for 40 Below members and $5 for guests.
